 The Rancho del Sol
Dr. Robert O. Young and the pH Miracle Center have been offering individual and group health retreats and educational programs at the Rancho del Sol since 1995. Rancho del Sol is a 46-acre rolling property nestled in the quiet foothills of Valley Center, California.
Within view of the rugged Palomar mountain range, Rancho del Sol is among the most beautiful ranches in Southern California and is home to several thousand organic grapefruit and avocado trees along with hundreds of beautiful flowering plants and bushes fed by six deep natural wells. The ranch serves as the Young’s private residence as well as the pH Miracle Center headquarters.
The Center offers nine different guest lodging accommodations. The guest quarters are scattered throughout the property and thus offer plenty of peaceful privacy for reading, meditation, relaxation, recuperation, etc.
Along with the classroom which hosts various group training and educational functions, there are several common areas that can be used for recreation and socialization. The back patio of the main house includes a beautiful pool, hot-tub, far-infrared sauna, and umbrella-shaded tables.  There are several saunas and one other hot-tub strategically located near the guest houses. A newly-constructed tennis and basketball court is positioned next to a newly refurbished guest house. The gym and commercial kitchen are attached to the Salon Room which also serves as one of the guest quarters. Lastly, seemingly endless hiking/walking/jogging trails weave through the hillside and eventually lead down to the grotto, near the bottom of the property.
Southern California is famous for year-round sunshine, and there is plenty of it at the aptly named Rancho del Sol! The weather is almost always warm and sunny during the day followed by a welcome and comfortably cool evening with very little humidity. The winter months, however, are known as the wet-season. During these months, there is still plenty of sunlight – but the days are not as warm. An average summertime high temperature is between 85-90 degrees F. An average summertime low temperature is in the mid 60s. An average high temperature in the winter is between 55-70 degrees F. However, nightly lows in the winter can occasionally fall into the 30s.
The pH Miracle Program
Each private retreat begins with a Live and Dried Blood Analysis. For more than 20 years, Dr. Young and the pH Miracle Center have been analyzing the blood of thousands of people, regulating their diet, and subsequently reanalyzing their blood. After decades of improving and advancing this clinical process, Dr. Young has perfected the science of alkaline living and is now regarded by many as the number one nutritional microbiologist in the world. Even now in the 21st century, when coming face-to-face with these alternative informational and education skills, allopathic medical practitioners are often astounded that a skillful qualitative analysis of a single droplet of blood magnified 10,000 times can identify foundational health problems dating back to infancy, identify cancerous markers years in advance, suggest the health all organ systems, identify serious nutritional imbalances, and often even identify a broken bone or surgery from  youth!
During your stay at the pH Miracle Center, all meals are delivered to your guest quarters by our experienced and professional kitchen staff. The meals usually consist of green vegetable smoothies (breakfast), green vegetable juices, varied, veggie-loaded salads with olive oil-based dressings, and soups (lunch / dinner). The dietary goal is to consume only ion-rich and alkaline foods, juices, and alkaline water while strictly abstaining from any type of acidic foods and drinks. If there is a certain alkaline recipe that a guest prefers (for example, a vegetable juice mixture or salad dressing), our client care specialist along with our kitchen staff can usually accommodate such requests.
Every guest facility is equipped with a Chanson H2O Nano Water Filtration System as well as a pH Miracle Mark I Water Ionizer. Drinking several liters (depending on your body weight) of filtered, structured, ionized, and alkaline water every day is a critical  step of the pH Miracle protocol.
Finally, all appropriate pH Miracle supplements are available to our clients during a private retreat. Often, depending on blood analyses, Dr. Young may specify certain supplements for guests. The main supplements utilized are Doc Broc Power Plants, pHour Salts, Terra pHirma, pHlavor, ChloropHeal, GlutapHione, and pHlush.
A typical day of the pH Miracle program starts with some form of exercise and breakfast. Throughout the day, guests and clients may participate in colon hydrotherapy, hot-rock lymphatic massage, unrefined mineral salt baths, dry heat saunas. Between activities guests are welcome to spend free time as they please. There is wireless, high-speed internet and satellite TV in each of the guest quarters. Movies can be purchased via the satellite system.
Logistics
Transportation to and from the airport can be arranged by The pH Miracle office staff. Our staff can also help you get into town to visit a convenience store, local shopping mall, etc. if you don’t have a car.
Services
The prices for a pH Miracle Private Retreat--which includes all lodging, meals, supplements, and therapies--range from $1295 per night to $2495 per night. If a client lives or is staying in the surrounding San Diego area, it is possible to commute to the Rancho del Sol daily to participate in a retreat.
Alla Carte Services offered include but are not limited to the following:
1) Daily Younga Yoga exercise, Dr. Young’s alkalizing yoga . There will also be whole body vibrational exercising, rebounding and aerobic exercise, including jogging and hiking around Rancho Del Sol’s 40 acres of avocado and  grapefruit trees.
2) Daily alkaline meals and snacks—meals to suit your protocol as set by our staff after evaluation.
3) Daily healing massages.
4) Colonics: Daily lower bowel cleansing and alkaline infusions to flush-out toxins.
5) Traditional blood testing including a CBC, Chemistry, Lipid and hormone Panel, Urine Analysis, and Cancer tests.
6) Far-Infrared treatments, which assist in helping the body release toxins through the process of sweating without steam or traditional super-heated dry saunas.
7) Daily hyper-alkalizing treatments with mineral salts.
8) Nebulizing to infuse alkalinity and nutrition directly into the blood and  tissues.
9) Nasal salt treatments.
